This is a necklace designed for a singer/ musician. The flowers light up in reaction to sound. They ensure that the wearer is the centre of attention. The flowers start blinking if the environment is quiet for too long.

It is made up of three laser cut acrylic flowers with engraved details filled with black ink. Acrylic filaments hold the sheer fabric in place and this diffuses the LEDs.

The black cabling is used to connect the electronics but also makes up the chain of the necklace, in keeping with this look the clasp is made from an alligator clip. The three flowers hide a battery, a microphone, and a microcontroller, removing any visible, external electronics and helping to give a self-contained, clean aesthetic.
